After a successful 2007, NCCU hopes to maintain its winning ways
DURHAM -- When N.C. Central moved from NCAA Division II to Division I last fall, everyone involved knew there were going to be some major growing pains.

DURHAM -- N.C. Central will have five captains for its football team this season, Eagles coach Mose Rison announced Tuesday. Elected to the leadership spots by their teammates are quarterback Stadford Brown, kicker Brandon Gilbert, offensive tackle Jovan Olafioye and running back Jeff Toliver -- all seniors -- along with sophomore defensive end Donald Laster.
