The ACC bowl picture is confounding even to those who are paid to make sense of it all. "It's pretty wild," said Scott Ramsey, president of the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl. "This is our 11th year, and I can't remember a year or even a conference with another bowl that's been as wide-open as the ACC's been this year."

UNC's Lawson back to playing at top form 12.1.2008 : 10:07 pm

North Carolina's coach had just witnessed Ty Lawson being bodied down on a fast break against UNC Asheville on Sunday, and 10 days after seeing Tyler Zeller break his wrist on a similar play, thoughts of losing Lawson to a serious injury probably rushed through Williams' head.

Healthy Lewis comes close 11.29.2008 : 11:30 pm
DURHAM -- Duke quarterback Thad Lewis sported a new look from head to toe for Saturday's season finale against North Carolina. Keys to the Game: UNC at Duke 11.28.2008 : 10:00 pm
QB or not QB? When UNC quarterback T.J. Yates suffered a broken ankle in September, he was leading the ACC in pass efficiency and Duke quarterback Thad Lewis was tops in total offense. But Yates struggled in his return to the starting role last week and Lewis has struggled to return from a mid-foot sprain. Which one plays closer to the way he played earlier in the season could go a long way toward determining today's winner.
